Very nice...really like the hop. The walk still feels stiff. The arms and legs are ok, but the torso and head could use another look. Maybe more sway and smoothing?
Snagged a photo in the countryside near Amsterdam on an overcast day and ran it through Bitmap2Material. One of the reasons why I'd want to invest in a proper camera (used my phone for this one).
I think there are only 8 allowed to work in the game industry at any one time. I'm lucky that I snagged up 1 of the 3 slots made available for Mexicans.
I assume there will be palette swaps for the robot parts, to tell the diff between the player models and the computer-controlled ones? Otherwise, looking great so far! WE WANT MOAR!
Thanks for the comments Octo. I am using Flickr currently. I actually hate flickr. Going to try Imageshack, swap the images and see what happens. stay tuned ;)
Small update on my animation. Not really digging the randomness of the wrecking ball anymore. Will probably swap it out for a falling stalagtite so it at least fits the scenario. Open to C&C.
Since it is crashing when playing games, I would guess either your video card is overheating or boned. Try swapping those out or running just one at a time.
Well one solution is to bake the normals before combining the mesh and offsetting the uvs. Another would be to first offset the body uvs and bake the face normals, then swap and bake the body.
looks great, although I think you should swap the "fire hydrant" out with something like the name of a city ,fire protection district or maybe like a station logo.
