Here it is with a single magazine, I'm going to continue from here, I think. That's 300 rounds shown. BTW, the magazine uses a horizontally mounted feeding system; that's why the bullets are in there sideways, they are rotated 90 degrees to enter the barrel.
The improved guitar is $150 Zac (The one with the buttons all down the fret and the 6 strings at the bottom). I don't think they've announced a price on the fully stringed guitar with the xbox buttons and such but I'd guess somewhere around $300.
http://www.google.com/products?q=TabletPC&oe=utf-8&hl=en&cat=328 I got one a couple years ago from Geeks.com for $300. Used it till my kid took it over then dropped it.
How the heck do you get 1500 polygons on just the bolts? Just make them cubes, and delete the invisible polygon. 32 tris per bolt, 320 for the whole. The lowest LOD shouldn't exceed 100 polies.
Battle Chasers Garrison fan art. High poly created in ZBrush, low poly in TopoGun, UV's and rigging in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. Garrison is 27.3k tris with a 2048 texture set and his sword is 2.6k tris with a 2048 texture set, 30k total. Thanks for looking!
Thanks for the info guys! @Earthquake holy crap thanks! I thought I was supposed to shoot for ~10k total, but ~30k will definitely give me a lot more freedom. I'm hopefully deving these assets for a 'pcmasterrace' type game. It's gotta look good
Finished my quick project before going back to the monthly competition. Amazing concept by Mango and here is the finished item. Another Abaddon sword! YES! Mistborn by Vayne and Mango Hope you like it! Hitting those 300 tris with this design was challenging.
indeed you can make the theme quite cozy. not sure how much the cyber cyan scheme has improved my modeling speed but I would wager 300 to 400% and possibly more. one day i may try orange
Agree with Mario here. I live in Europe as well and 300-400€ is in the ballpark of what I charge. This allows for a decent life, not drugs and sports cars. No clue how you can survive doing freelance at 100-150$ a day Michael :open_mouth:
I like it alot, pretty cool stuff here I must say :) I really enjoy the colors and it's different from what we see here everyday, nice work. 30K Tris, seems a bit overkill but yeah, the result is good!
