I've just reinstalled Blender and it did not fix the problem. Could it be my pc? I have an old laptop with an AMD A6-3400 APU with 500MB of VRAM clocked at 1.4GHz and only 4GB of RAM. Could that be the problem? I am not trying to open large files. I think the largest one I have is only 5 to 10MB. -

Wow this is truly impressive, how did I miss this? I have a couple questions though. Is this a mod for Crysis, or an actual build of CryEngine 2? If it's an actual build, where did you manage to obtain it? I doubt it's the $500,000.00 license. -

It totally depends on what you're going to use it for. If you don't have a specific game / engine in mind (just making it for the prac or for the portfolio) then might as well make the textures at a larger resolution - you can always scale them down later. 4096x4096 should give you plenty of room to step down later on.…
