thanks guys- the armors integration is going to be wierd- I want it to feel like the armor, witch and demon are sort of melded together- you know, fantasy stuff.
I think you could stand to bevel/soften the edges on the armor for your Earth set, the sharp edges on the shoulder and waist armor might not bake that well.
just out of curiosity the armor for the first image(the frog looking creature with armor o his head and body) was it done in zbrush and can you very briefly mention the steps that you have taken
The concepts for Utopia are amazing :D Your sculpt looks good, but personally i would define the edges of the armor more, right now it looks a bit like a shirt with armor painted onto it :D
The concept is that Lux tries on some of Garen's armor, wanting to follow in her brother's footsteps, but the armor is so big and heavy that she can barely stand. This is what I have so far.
is this meant to be an armor or a robot? because if its armor i would suggest sculpting a basemesh of whoever will be inside to get your proportions right, before jumping into the hard stuff.
Work in Progress for today. I tried to throw som background color to kinda set up the mood. Did some value painting and detailing the armor a little bit, i think that's pretty much it for the armor.
Still chipping away at stuff. Clothing practice - Need to do the arms still. Some initial bakes and lowpoly for the bonemold armor - Need to fix the edge of the skirt and add some more geometry to the shoulder armor.
Looking good. Looks sort of like a mix between a gorilla and a drone/Brumak. You should definitely get some armor on it though. Nearly all of the locust creatures have some sort of armor on them.
