These threads never turn out good, I learned that going on 6 years ago, I've matured into a bitter douche bag since then. (J/K I'm mellow like happy cat now)
Latest trailer is a big improvement! Nice catchy captions, and good choice of font. Timing overall is a lot better, and the closing 6 seconds is still ace (especially the trumpet thing right at the end :D)
estimated number of times i hit the random button: 6 or 7 estimated time taken: 15 min tools used : open canvas location of brain during the excersize: the drawer next to the fridge
Thanks everyone! This thread is awesome. I have a pretty sizeable collection myself but pretty much all of them have been mentioned already. I just added 6 books to it tho! Hooray!
Sucks to keep hearing about all these layoffs. Myself and 6 others just got laid off last week, here's hoping we all, like Vig said, "land on our feet". : /
yeah there will be a lot of things to fix.. I used photo ref for the figure I have so far.. I'm going for a taller build.. like 6 foot ish, with the build of a boxer or MMA fighter
this is the positive thread soldier! stop being a cry baby and start being a try baby! Your portfolio is just 2 3d wips! Get 6 or more finished pieces in there, pronto! exclamation point!
i started animation mentor this year and i learned alot in the first 6 weeks, everything is motivating there. Besides i can manage to earn some money at work to get food you know ;)
Thanks man, I scaled them up a bit. DAY 6 Reworked the pauldrons. Added the clothes on the front side. Changed the thighs plates. Started the details ( had a lot of trouble with the "star" on the pauldron... )
Selection types are the number keys. For example, in editable poly, 1 is vertex, 2 is edge, 3 is border, 4 is polygon, 5 is element, and 6 exits sub-selection and returns you to the whole object.
