     Just a heads up that we just released this for purchase and also added a new bundle. The physical DVDs wont ship out until the 15th at the latest but you will of course get the download immediately. Thanks again for everyones support. http://eat3d.com/udk_lighting

     The price is still too hefty and has weird limitations. At that point you may as well use Blender. Though at least they're trying a new model, I guess. I probably don't even use 1/10th of the functions and features in Maya.

     ah now a female model would certainly be a good base for a challenge in the challenge forum, er, would be wrong to do this in the challenge forum now because of it's existing longevity. PM one of us if you want your female armoured from the 14th.

     It was released over in the UK on the 16th of june, the UI is very simple to use and have had no problems with it. for me the appeal of the tablet is that it totally unshackles me from my pc/laptop. my work being primarily email based makes this a complete boon,especially with the blackberry enterprise functionality.

     I wonder how much this extra money will affect the development. They've said extra money will be put into extra VA, music, development of the video documentation, additional release platforms, etc... Looks like they're budget will be at least quadrupled and maybe even higher by March 12th though.

     so much improvement nice! id dirty up those pipes hanging over the top or model them so its not just a long piece of metal. I like the ones you have in the 16th post on this thread in the top right hand corner. Keep it up almost there!

     Thanks mate for the crit, I will have a play with the materials in the UDK to try and punch the diffuse out. After this one is done I need to do two more characters for the game, if you are interested I will post a link to a vid of the game running....once it's done (hand in is May 10th!)
