A more streamlined front-end wouldn't hurt either. IIRC it felt clunky. As well, I wouldn't mind a more consistent art style from the characters to the environments. The characters and how they were rendered was badass where-as the world sort of fell flat, IMO. Would nice if it was unified somewhat.
I know it matches the reference pretty closely, but the bars that connect the pedals to the frame look very much like primitives right now - maybe add some slight curvature to them to make them look a little more streamlined? Other than that, really nice so far. Can't wait to see it textured - maybe a really funky…
hey ted, got some more suggestions if u want to hear them. 1. i would be much more comfortable if you could trigger a little window after the master preset is applied which says "converting done" or anything alike 2. i know i requested the renaming function, but i am kinda annoyed by it a little. as the layer name is so…
I suppose with the vide range of games they develop theres no point in using the same engine.. However maybe they should streamline their business a bit so for example all of the workers at the sweat-shop (redwood shore ) uses similar engines and tools? Its easy to see the limitations tho. Does Sims and NHL 2007 need the…
"If non-authentic software is detected, the update will prompt users to take action (i.e., pay Microsoft) and any background wallpaper in use will be switched to a plain desktop as an additional reminder that action is necessary." I find that quite amusing, since when is wallpaper considered an important component of an…
Layered Landscape Material Setup Part 1/2 Hi again. I'm now going to try and give a breakdown of the layered material used on the landscape. I'm going to have to do it in two halves otherwise this one post will end up being too big. As I mentioned on my Artstation page for this artwork, I originally went a little overboard…
I use a combination of 3DCoat and Max. 3Dcoats retopo tools aren't the most streamlined and have a few issues I wish would get fixed, but overall its quite competent. Modos retopology tools are good too if you have access to that.
I think your mesh loading window looks nice. I am open to that but I am slightly concerned it will be more confusing to first time users. The installer is mostly in place to help with updates. Also, I prefer having a shortcut in my start menu or task bar for software I use frequently. I didn't include any sample meshes…
Actually I did mean how to handle the split from valve not so much deciding 20% to this person etc. But thanks for the reply :) This is exactly what I was looking for and glad that Valve takes care of it. Thanks for responding :) I'll keep that in mind. I've heard they are looking into making it streamlined with more…
