will this work if a single continuous mesh has 2 or more colors applied to it? for example, lets say i have a shirt where I want the left sleeve red, the right sleeve blue and the torso area purple. this is a simplified case, however, i run into the scenario often where I apply materials on a per face basis. -

You can even use Google Docs itself. It's got a pretty nice Form document that lets you create a survey and even tabulates it for you in a Google Spreadsheet (and even summarizes results in graphs). I've used it twice before for thesis surveys. To create it, go to Google Docs and on the top left click 'Create new' > 'Form' -

I dont know if anyone posted this already, but i have a wierd bug with the normal map. I mirrored the left leg and arm over, to save texture space which resulted in a reversed normal map on the left side. Now I can fix it for the left side when I flip-Y for the normalmap in the menu, but of course the other side gets… -

Yup, I've actually re-donethe bare brick texture, it has a littel more roughness/variation now. I left a bit of spec on which technically isn't "correct" since there's no way bricks would have any spec unless it's like fresh clay, but it looks better that way I think. That looks wicked! But honestly with such a cool weapon i would expect an extraordinary texturing, and i was let down with the 50 shades of grey...Expecially the sculpted part on the left could use some more organic-feeling-texture,maybe some alien-skin-kind of texture...
