Thanks for that! Help me alot. I have a way better feel for that I'm going for now. It's like a Life Boat/Go-Cart/Jet. What I need help with. How to add a windsheild How to add a steering device Modeling the engine jet thinger... Here It Is
Hi, i took your criticisms, and went over my concepts with orthographic again, and changed up the siloutte of the model more to give it a bit more steampunk feel, i also worked on a colour chart for them. (still thinking about making colours even darker to fit my idea more). My ideas for a character story was to be a…
Oh I dont disagree with the fact the EU works differently in that regard, but heres the kicker...the EU is not the biggest game market out there. Add to the fact that they rank high on the piracy charts... So lets say they cannot get rid of the EU law which allows software to be resold like that. What would a…
Yes, but it looks wrong. Actually it looks like you got to the outline detail of your texturing process, stopped, and added dirty overlays. Mud and dirty shouldn't destroy detail and edges, but sit on top of them. My main crit is, finish the mine cart scene. :P
That pile of stone/brick is way too hi poly. I would just make it one single mesh for the pile and outline it. The bags on the back of the cart look a little high too. Other than what others have said, you're looking pretty good otherwise :)
I think this is a classic case of putting the cart before the horse. Also, people on here aren't telling you this is a bad idea, and that your portfolio isn't ready to try and hurt your feelings; they're doing it to help you and protect you from getting hurt IRL.
Products and services sold from this online store are only licensed for use within US and Canada i just read this when i hit to add cart, $60 for the dvd with the case, to $30 for a edownload is way cheaper,im sure the Europe store has this get,Chris
I've got a feeling like the opening in your arch/gate is a bit too short, I could be wrong though. Would a person on horseback or a fully loaded cart fit through that gate? I know pirates = ships not horses but it was a popular method of transportation during the time period...
I think the materials look pretty decent (the height on the wood is a little high tho) but I feel like you need to push you models further in general. Looking from the ground dirt which looks cool, to for example the bags in the cart there is a very clear difference in quality.
i am curious about this whole selling 3d assets thing so i checked the website to see what library you use for your webstore but i couldn't find a "BUY NOW" button or "add to cart" anywhere ... like how WOULD i buy this if i wanted to ?!
