I'm not an expert, but it could be the CPU slowing down the graphics card. Atleast that was the issue for my old Indel Core 2 Quad 6600. After I got my i7 2600k everything that was lagging before was running fine. But as I said I could be mayorly wrong and talking out of my ass here. :/ -
