Thank you all for the kind comments. Sorry to say but my version of "Missing Link" will remain untouched, at least for a while. My current project is using build out method to make a self portrait of myself. And this next week is Zbrush and learning normal maps. :poly121:
yes it is worth the visit, also the british museum and to a lesser extent the Victoria albert museum. then theres the tate gallery, portrait gallery, saatchi gallery etc etc. get a Time out magazine when you get here it will list alot of the stuff thats going on .
i have no clue what you're saying but this one was finished a few days ago. You probably talk about my old self portrait....that was done in another era and it has nothing to do with this one ;)
Think gir is wanting to go to the National Portrait Gallery around 10 or 11..? I would put my suggestion of Gourmet Burger Kitchen forward. I have done a lot of product tasting. :p
Welp my days were spent on baking, texturing and retopology. Still not too great at any of them. Day 15 Day 16 Baking Portrait and finished retopology Day 17 - Baking Day 18
Hi there! Hope I can include WIPs of my current pixelart project too. Meanwhile, some sketches from e3 games and my first attempt of a portrait speedpaint with walter white from breaking bad. any feedback appreciated!
As Zacktor mentioned, we've been pretty busy with school work as of late. :) I spent this weekend finishing of the last touches on this head sculp and I also did a quick paintover portrait mockup to get the feel of what the character is going to look like once its finished.
it just looks odd as the woody harelson head, with a muscular body. might be better to do a more generic head for your muscular guy then do a portrait study of him as a separate piece cause its quite a nice head model you made in its own right.
"The Donald" ...Sutherland. Not too keen on portraits, so I thought I'd give it a shot and push myself. Work in progress, though any CC welcome. Lots of values work to be done. Possibly some proportion changes.
Partly, but not fully. While it is true that the importer requires very lowres textures (128*256 in the case of a Pudge head piece), there are obviously other problems here, as shown by the faceted look you are getting in the portrait preview screen.
