Add your geom - make sure your geom is selected - click MTL <No Custom Material> Then hit the file icon with the plus sign in the material window (add new item) Done !

If you are using WPO for your water shader your SOL, Lumen & Nanite do not support WPO yet. I'm not seeing any artifacts outside of the water, what do you mean?
