Hello, I've been working on Captains Quarters environment based on the Pirates of the Carribean movies. If I could get some feedback or suggestions regarding composition, lighting or anything else, I would greatly appreciate it! Here are the reference images i used:
lol, my guilds name is Tainted. we're epic pirate roleplaying hardcore pvp'ers. you'll have to let me know which server polycount is on, i want to stomp you'z all! WAAAAGH!!!!! ...oops, wrong lore :P
Very good as always! - How do you create the trees? Are they hand crafted? Some tips maybe? - Could you give some info on the water shader? The one you used in the tropical "pirate" scene was also very good.
Hey pirat, I was hoping to see those texture sheets as well but it looks like the dropbox link is already removed. Any chance I could get my hands on them? This is such a well crafted vehicle I'm very curious
Hm... when I was around 10 years old I saw a man in the clouds. It was actually fairly detailed. It's been six years since and I can still remember. He kind of looked like an old pirate. No joke.
Ooooh that's a bummer. Read it'll take around 2m to break even, so the game might not be too profitable in the end, supposedly. Glad I bought a copy at $60! Gonna go shame all my friends who pirated it.
I dunno, if you really struggle with money, why not pirate software you need so much? I mean, I don't promote piracy or anything, but you can pay for it later when you have the money to spend for this soft.
i Really hope so i never did a 3d model really only like a pirate gone that turned out horrible. but thank you so much Infinity ;) i got no idea what i am doing haha
2 more props : a door and a barrier, to test wood materials. Base tileable done in s.designer (messing with Kay Vriend's free sbs ) , then assembled on the model in painter (dropping that new base into a tweaked "pirate-wood" smart material from s.share) .
@Hito : absolutely loving that female run cycle. It's so rare to see the center of mass being so well maintained in a stylized run - really great work. Loving that pirate Tuna ! And the rendering and camera work are great too. Cool stiff !
