yeah you can either use the push modifier for global inflating. Or you could move verts/edges/polys with the normal constrain if you prefe to just inflate a specific part of the model.
You could define a structure containing your functions and declare it in the global scope. That should work, and it'll be neat. I dont know how encryption affects this, I doubt it will be a problem though.
Probably a stretch but try changing the Subdivision Method setting under the Smooth Mesh dropdown in your model's shape attributes. You'll need to uncheck "Use global subdivision method" in order to change it.
Never mind guys. I managed to fix the offset. for those with a similar problem I fixed it by opening up the outliner and offsetting the global control right below the root motion control in the hierarchy.
If nothing else here works, you could try enabling the global supersampler in your render settings. I have used this to get rid of similar weird artifacts in the past...not as bad as this though.
Exactly my point. Artists don't know what "voxel cone tracing" means and it doesn't sound particularly interesting or useful. "Dynamic global illumination" is a much better way to communicate this to us.
ocalised forest and woodland destruction and global enviromental scaremongering tactics is not the same thing. While the later is a good point, its not really appropriate to use just this video to voice your view as it is irrelevant.
Try turning off Texture Filtering in the Bitmap properties of your textures. I'm not a VRay user so I don't know, but there might be a texture filtering setting in VRay too, to globally control that.
anyone got a decent global illumination rig they can send my way? I spend too long faffing with lighting and never get it right for a simple render to show player models standing on a white floor with a white sky... I'm using MAX 6 btw
