First off, I apologize for spamming the UDK boards with threads adn questions lately. I do try and find the answers to my questions on google and such. I'm now having trouble with decals... They have white edges running around the boarder of the decall. It has something to do with my transparancy mask as I have…
Hi everyone. I'm working on a weapon model for my dota2 contest entry and this is my first time using normal maps. I've read a lot about normal mapping and figured out most of it right but I couldn't get rid of the baking errors on the edges of that model. I'll be grateful if you could tell me how I can get rid of those.…
i'm looking to create a script ( if there isn't one out there already ?? ) that will average the length of a selection of edges. the practical application would be for creating belts and straps etc eg : layout your poly strips across a live surface make the necessary tweaks run the script to give the cross section a…
Hello everyone! I'll cut straight to the point! I'm having a problem with my low poly hair: basicly I'm seeing hard edges on my hair. It's driving me nuts! I'm looking under the modify menu and the convert polygon edges to curve is not listed. Anyone know how to get it back or where it went. I've tried deleting my prefs with no luck.
Finished my first retopology pass. Looking a little too sharp and edgy right now. Going to take it back into sculpting and add details as well as soften up some edges. Some areas like the chest and ankles need a good work over and I'm not quite certain what to do on the shoulders yet, however, overall really liking the…
I feel like it needs to have some amount of a serrated edge somewhere. That might possibly be because I like serrated edges. It does seem useful to have some part of the knife that can stand up to a lot of punishment without worrying about dulling as much.
I was playing around with blender and one thing I really like and use often is the insetting function with no boundary. So when I select some faces which has an open edge and inset them, it looks something like this In modo we have the square corners option for bevel but it doesn't work the same way. is there any way to…
