i'm not stupid and the point was made. i clarified, i played it as much as i did to find the saving grace of a $60 investment. i just dont like it. no need to get all your panties in a bunch about it and start being jerks. and b1ll it's *sigh* not sigh**
Thanks, guys. Yeah I do plan on finishing her one day. The textures are only about 50-60% or so. I recently had to move from Texas to Oregon plus starting a new, very demanding job, PLUS finishing the book... argh!
I like the Simple yet Tech look room. Suggestion pose? Have her Sitting the Chair with a book ? Oo;; Maybe? It looks surreal, reminds me a lil offhandishly like a Scene from a Austin Powers Type scene..... has a 60's feel to it
Vector/raster layer workflow - hard surface art is HARD!! Gave up trying to count the individually blended closed curve object's at around 200+...or something, generated too portray the above painting O_o Combined Vector/Pixel outline (...at 60% complete - latest update)
Thanks. I was thinking around ~100$ - 130$ top per monitor. I don't have very high standards. IPS with nice colours and black and white would be nice, 1080p, I don't mind standard 60 Hz and I don't need gsync or freesyns
Some new shots from the current state. Used an old rigged character for a virtual photosession and created almost 60 unique photos that will be used in the whole scene. Also made a few more props and filled the whole space a bit more. C&C as always appreciated. :)
Not in itself, but that the company feels it's in such a position that fire saleing products that were $60 AAA games in some cases just days over a year ago for under $0.75 each (less than that when you deduct the charity donation and humble tip) is a worthwhile thing, that feels sad.
Just did some Mapworks tonight. AMAZING! I think I need to quote myself. I know Runic is keeping the price tag low so they can get their name out to reach a broader audience, but there is no doubt in my mind this game is worth a full $60.
@stevston89 - I think geometry isn't really a big deal nowadays, when sometimes the important characters (or vehicles) takes around 60 or even 100k tris , but yeah alpha is expensive for sure. I hope that these kind of fancy things will be seen more in the next generation of games.
I'm still hoping theres a "hard+" mode that takes all of that out. I don't very much want to know theres an entrance point 60 feet away because its glowing through a wall... Plus lets face it, who wouldn't play this on hard anyway.
