@Skinner3D, no problem Jelly bot will be up soon, lol. @Lukeman87, I'm glad you find the face shipshape. I can add small textures to the clothing, but it doesn't look there are any textures at all on the Fortnite characters.
Hi, I am looking for a senior 2D artist who can conceptualize and illustrate several stylized characters. If you can do Riot/Fortnite/Overwatch style it would be a big plus. If interested, please drop me a pm with your portfolio and rates. Thanks.
I agree with codyaq2, I think his arms are looking a bit short, and his head is big. fortnite and overwatch both have very sharp creases on their clothing, i think you could push that more on your guy's pants.
Currently making a stylized version of one of my coworkers. I am aiming for something in the fortnite style, and will end up hand painting this. Any thoughts so far? Im open to changes at this point, definitely not concerned with realism, want something more quirky and fun
From what I see, Steam has about 125m registered user, and about 90m of those are monthly active users. But still Fortnite alone comes close to that number already. Add a few other exclusives on top and they can compete with steam.

if you get hired by us, you get access ;) otherwise i still have to check with the client if i can publish it was btw this hairstyle its not the same, fortnite certainly changed in the way stuff is supposed to be constructed, but some of it still can be applied.
Epic is doing a lot of good shit with the fortnite money. But buying everything and doing good with it will only last as long as they have good management, and eventually that will change. Anyway, at the moment, I am loving all the free content epic is giving away. Gotta get while the gettings good.
Here's some reference i collect, i'm kinda looking for a Overwatch / Fortnite style First day i blocked out the overall silhouette of the character and added sketchy details just to see hows looking. And thats basically how i started the project, from several spheres
Some games use photos and some games don't. As okidoki says it's very dependent on the style. On a game like Battlefront they're extremely photo and scan based. They have teams that are flown to a destination to just photo scan the environments. Games like God of War use some photos - but only to help with the texturing…
