really nice designs and material definition, i particularly like the cannon, the ice crystal bow, and those rocks at the base of the flag post look baller
@Doodlok good start! you might want to use your thirds for comp on boat and giant. Giant could be taller, and have less contrast. boat mast and sails could be taller too. more moonlite might look nice as well. The water on fire and the clouds are looking crisp! Cheers!
Thanks, hawken. Been working on the head a bit, and tweaked the body some more. Made his legs a little taller and thinner, but I'm not too certain of the results. . He's actually about a half a head taller than the ref(if the ref is without much perspective that is.)
This is unreal :poly115: Awesome, guys! If my items go up for sale I'll be able to pay off my student loans. haha What are you ballers doing with all of the profits?:)
I agree his head-to-body proportions are a bit off if the intention is to have a taller character. There are a few other things that could be revised, but the most important is a structural mistake in the head which immediately stands out, specially in profile: Ear placement. Unfortunately the skull you're using is missing…
I have to agree with Magno. The Tusk set looks nicely done so far, but the wings really break his silhouette and overall theme. On the other hand, that DK looks absolutely baller. Love the shield.
Baller! I know you got all mobility back, but what about sensation? I had a buddy who cut the tendons in both thumbs at the webbing. He regained most mobility, but sensation was shot.
Oooh, I like the colours and lighting on this last sketch. I would mess around with the silhouette of the big monster thing a bit though, as it's a bit confusing to look at right now. Maybe just the big arm on the left. The other one looks baller. :)
Baller :D - Im guessing its prone to change, but my crit for the book would be to leave some area's of rest. You've got a lot of things going on, but they are all similar sized shapes and its quite busy.
