Anybody else using a 3Dconnexions 3D mouse and finding the blender script for it completely crap? It's nothing like how it works inside of maya/max :/ maybe there are some better un-official scripts about?
@melviso the outliner should always sync with the 3D view as of 2.80 I think. As for finding an object in the outliner, just select it in the 3D view and press the numpad period key while the mouse is over the outliner.
Isn't there a way to link a collection with another blend file and have it update in realtime while working with the 2 files? I am sure i saw something like that somewhere but i can't find.
Couldnt find it. You sure thats what its called? Any way to freeze the ~&#*~&~&*#* cursor? I never use it but am always left clicking by accident and having it shoot off all over the place.
OK, it also hhas Loop Regularize, Bridging and curve and... Honestly...are you guys sure this program is free? I find it hard to believe Blender has next gen workflow and Autodesk products yet don't...
Very awesome @Linko Are you finding the Blender decimate working well enough for this? I always end up having to fix up parts whenever I use it, but maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere
I recently switched to 2.80 and it's been rather nice so far. However, is it possible to disable lighting when weight painting or vertex painting? There used to be an option for that in 2.79 but I can't seem to find it anymore.
Of course I don't know your workflow and why the toggle would so useful for you. If you are not using it yet, you might find [L] Select Linked useful in some cases with the right delimiter.
I can't find any options for it unfortunately :(. I haven't gotten into the scripting part of blender yet, still setting it up "out of the box" as much as possible. Can't wait to unleash that python power though :)
I'm having a crazy time figuring out how to install that linked code, @wazou Do you know where I can find some sort of guide? Pasting it into the console is deeeefinitely not going well.
