this is weird, i'm modeling this as general practice and you posted the model right after me haha looking really really good i have along way to go still obviously :P
Low poly practice, trying to go the Nintendo DS RPG style. The eyes and mouth are from an old model, and are placeholder. Does someone know how to use vertex colors with Cinema4D? Is it even possible?
I was under the impression that testing was basicly "free" and didn't add any unnecessary drawcalls. However, I could be wrong.;) But your probably right. Adding a “huge” texture with an alpha is not good practice anyhow.
Crepator- nice one FreshDumbledore- good job. I agree with vrav about the screenshots. maybe fix that little seam in the face also. wip. bit poly heavy.. but its more for texture practice.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on Polycount forums. This scene is to practice handpaiting textures. I hope you enjoy it and I´m aware of any feeback. Concept by Makkon's [SKETCHFAB]95221e20ae1a47fb8d4937b5bda36643[/SKETCHFAB]
I did this for practice as I was inspired by the awesome Altair low poly model that can be found on the internet. Its not finished yet, as I didn't had the time for the textures, but at least the geometry for my Revelation Ezio...
Part anatomy practice, part getting as much detail under 1000 triangles, part because I know you guys love cock. It's 998 triangles btw, so much is ok now, right?
This thread has inspired me to learn modelling. So many beautiful things. I'm making this tank as practice and got it at 198 tris. So far so good. Next I have to learn texturing ha.
Slightly butchered Davens' lovely concept art for some speed modelling.. It needs a bit of tidying up but was good practice! :poly142: Davens post here > http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2045681&postcount=2
