take the pixel brush,- set its alpha to 50 or less and draw against your aliasing (hard pixel edges) line. this is how its usually done automaticly though software: and here manually notice also the fine color gradients - they dont just go darker but change color too
@Pierate: I like it,- though I think you could add some more pixel level details like highlights on the bolts or very dense gradients. Somar, if you look at the texture map of your example you'll notice that everything is pretty much square, even though the model isn't.
