Its as absurd as bitching for a transgression of a simple guideline. Not to mention other people previously posted models with over 500 polys in this thread without anyone complaining.

Been working on a Lowpoly project for my school. During the week we where tasked with creating a lowpoly model with a limit at 500 tris and a diffuse map of 128x128.
Psibat: Post a picture with a wireframe, and we'll tell you where to shave off some tris ;) Looking at the model, it could easily be brought down to around 500

hawken - it's going to be 1680 or thereabouts :D Maxwell - stretched UVs or not, the archer, horse, bow and knife etc at 500 triangles is impressive. Could you post the wireframe?
