Wow good stuff all around< I haven't drawn a lick on months... same part of my brain Iuse to sketch, I used to animate, and I've animated a lot, and almost forgotten how to draw. Good stuff. Scott
Well, I don't post here alot... so here is a sketch I cleaned up and went 'to town' on in Photoshop. Creature inspired by playing alot of the new DoomIII and QuakeIV. And here we have it with a little bit of a story thrown in.
OMG, forgive the double post, but I totally forgot about these sketches. They've been sitting in photobucket for a week, now. This one is entitled "OMG" Crappy faces, I need to practice them more often. Hey, there he is again.
Been trying to work on a mechanical-myth creatures theme: The last one I tried to paint instead of just sketching.. there a lot of stuff I flubbed up (light sources, etc.) so I guess I'll call it a learning to paint experience..
so after 9 yrs out of drawing, i decided to start sketching again, drew thes recently... I definitely need to practice line work and what not again, feel free to advise btw kudos to all the great artists in here!!
Very nice stuff, Mansir. Have you ever seen any sketches by Mark Gibbons? He used to illustrate Games Workshop's army books... I always loved his pencil work, and yours reminds me a lot of his work.
Here are a couple I have done as warm ups for a concept art project im working on . Love your style Bobo sorta whimsical . That sentar type character reminds of something Kenneth scott sketched . Ohh and nice glove Joe looks good .
cool snowfly! hihi, maybe you could upload the brush. Looks really useful (I am not a penicl fan, but you know, I need some variation from time to time ) Good work anyone, really dig your sketches bobo and blankslate
