Been a long time since I posted some work here lol been busy :) Heres an funky character I made this weekend to practice PBR texturing. I may pose him if I feel like it later.
Hi guy's great work everyone! I retextured one of my old characters for texturing class, my goal was to learn more about pbr texturing and here is the result. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/bounty-hunter-e85ab80e-ec57-4fbc-8d31-b3d9f5afee76
Sharkticon rendered in Marmoset 2.0 using Unreal 4 PBR "Metalness" method. Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop. Working on a small scene, and will start a WIP Thread along. If anyone is interested, I can provide my Substance workflow (it's actually super easy).
I'm a bit stuck on my pbr materials here, looks too much like a toy. It's just the basic materials, no scratches etc yet. You can also ignore the white seams, this is just mask padding problem Some feedback would be helpful!
Been updating my portfolio, been working on this since the start of the week, fully textured in Photoshop, as still learning the principles of PBR and material creation, so didn't want to go the Ddo/Painter route. still some more things to add but quite pleased with the look.
x-posting the Unity PBR charts I made a while back, which have just made their way into the wild. Hopefully they're helpful to someone! Link to high-res png and pdf versions here: https://oc.unity3d.com/public.php?service=files&t=dfc9aa1491ff905f589408aa136eab23
Finished this KAC ChainSAW LMG(UE4). My first gun and second object using the PBR workflow.. This was textured manually in PS. If I can find the time I want to redo the textures in Substance or ddo:) And sorry for posting so shortly after the other post
Aaaaand its finally done, panzer 38 model for a vr project, 122k triangles and 4X4k pbr maps. I have some more prictures and a marmoset viewer link on arstation here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/da3rX Merry christmas and happy new year polycouters!
Hi Guys, I'm trying to get better at making modular buildings. Below is using a tiling texture for the brick and 2 separate atlases for the windows etc. Using PBR and rendering in Marmoset. Any feedback on what you guys think and how this could be improved would be greatly appreciated!
