Hello! I just finished part 2 of the Space Golem Bust series. I'll be going over my process for hand painting textures for various materials such as rock, metal, glows and plastic in 3DCoat. Thanks for checking it out! https://gumroad.com/turpedo
Bill Lumbergh very nice speed sculpts, their faces came out great. codyaq2 your expressions look very realistic, great job. Here is a bust of the Sasquatch it is based on the Sasquatch done by Marc Silvestri for Marvel comics. It was rendered in maya using VRay.
Taken a break from my bfx competition work to do a little bust sculpt. Style and presentation heavily inspired by the work of Henning Sanden (and dishonored). any critique would be much appreciated as always :) sculpt: 3 hours photoshop presentation: 10 minutes
Kamezis - Whew, that is an AWESOME bust! Gnashed - Loving your style! One last update for tonight, wanted to get this in game to test... but there are only so many hours in a weekend... and I blew them all trying to get this hood not to look like ass :P
For the last couple of weekends I've been trying out a zbrush/handpainted workflow. I made a Pharaoh bust and a tiling stone texture. For the tiling texture I followed Fanny Vergne's tutorial from Vertex #2 and Orb's crack brush tutorial. These are rendered in Marmoset.
Hey, I've been working on a cyberpunk bust, figuring out fibermesh, its pretty awesome. Though I'm not quite sure if I can use it to bake yet Ill try some stuff though, FOR SCIENCE :D. Anyway crits are more then welcome as always.
