Just popped in to say you guys do an amazing job with hand painting. It's not a particular skill of mine but I love looking through this thread, really inspirational. :) You all make it look so easy...
arvinmoses - did you use a clouds layer in photoshop? that can screw with your values sometimes. some parts of the texture seem completely gray. If you paint in some subtle color there, it could really help :)
Don't be afraid or ashamed. I think you'll learn from sharing your stuff! As long someone will take some time and give you some feedback! @CougarJo: Really sweet work! I like that second one you posted, that damaged paint looks great! But I think you could darken that black gummi part of the handle a little to seperate it…
