So I'm a total handpainting junkie these days and I'm loving it. This is my second handpainted piece evahr so I still have a long way to go in quality and speed It's part of a scene I'm working on in UDK. The spec and normal is more apparent there.
I understand that there is no straight answer for this but i just feel so lost when dealing with prize / asset. I am doing a 1024 * 1024 handpainted texture, really detailed wow style. Can someone give me a hint ? thanks alot.
Why do people keep referring to handpainted as an MMO thing??? Unchartered, Last of Us, Max Payne 3, and Brink all incredibly beautiful games that have all their textures handpainted. It might not be toony but the skill to paint everything properly should be style-flexible.
