Like Eric said, using a mouse is like painting with a potato in your hand and at that point a jump to just about anything that resembles a classic drawing implement is a step up. You don't need to go top of the line tablet, I kick myself for going super expensive then buying a cheaper tablet for my daughter and finding out… -

So if I went with a cintiq HD13 is the quality the same as the 22HD or 24HD just difference in size? Edit: Noticed a lot of reviews seemed to have problems with scratches on the HD13. Plus the wire. hmm my hands used to cramp up like mad, then i just switched over to using the tablet all the time for everything, and it pretty much stopped, except for when i'm painting as if i'm trying to chisle the damn thing out of stone, which happens sometimes when i'm not paying attention, props to wacom for making sturdy… -

I got me a pen tablet... I jes to lazy to reach over 13 inches n grab it! :-) I have used the early versions of LN with my tablet. I had my hopes on that velocity "feature" for an LM! "lazy mouse" ( plus it just seems silly that no one has ever built pressure sensitivity into mice ) -

I found the problem. I'm using a Surface Pro, which doesn't play completely well with Modo. I had to set the input to Tablet instead of Mouse, even though I'm using a mouse. Setting it to Tablet fixed the issue. I'm just very glad to know that isn't the normal way it's supposed to function. Had me terrified XD -

6x8 is my favorite size, Graphire 3 6x8 was my first tablet, and i still like it I'm using an Intuos 3 6x8 now. it all depends on how you're used to drawing, big or small. i also model with the tablet, so that size is perfect, its big enough for details but not too big where it becomes cumbersome. -
In-progress: 3DO and Yiynova
Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else...I have been unable to get my Yiynova tablet to work with 3DO in trying to paint in viewport. My tablet drivers are up to date and I have pressure sensitivity in all of my apps...However I get zero registration with 3DO's viewport. Not even the mouse cursor works, let… -
