Last message to say I tried the plugin under Maya 2009-32 bit and it works. Butthe JS_Panoramic is not really for game use if you want to apply the render to a sphere in your game. This is not cool because Bake option do not allow rendering special effect X_X
Just tried these drivers on XP 32 bit with an HD4870, worked like a charm! I can happily rotate now. Thanks a lot for the info, I found this site on a google search, saved my life. I used the XP driver from this post at the cgtalk forum:
That is fantastic Josh! And a native Texan too! My wife and I are expecting our second (another girl) in 7 weeks. Our first was born at 31 weeks (3.13 LBS) but we are at 32 weeks currently with our second...so we're in uncharted territory! Congratulations again!
I was 19 years old when Duke Nukem 3D came out, and I'll be at least 32 years old when Duke Nukem Forever comes out. Frankly, I remember as much about Duke as I do about the rest of 1996 - not a hell of a lot.
On the note of grid if I am modeling in Maya I run my settings at 256, 16, 1. On the other hand you can also run off 512, 512, 32 just another way to get the same gird settings. Just depends on what you like both ways will snap.
hey, Repete, I wasn't able to download any of your scripts because dropbox turned your links off because of excessive traffic. Can you reupload them somewhere else? I'm especially intereted in this one. http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/discussion/post.aspx?f=32&t=121871&p=1017451
Id be surprised if theres anyone at the Trion Redwood City studio in the entire Rift Production team, thats under 25 years old - acutally Curt our new hire into the art team will probably be the youngest guy in the entire studio. The median age is probably 32 - 34 here I would guess :)
32 GB of ram seems a bit much, I'd rather spend that on a 512 GB SSD, unless you really use a lot of ram regularly. Why do you need the USB card? You'd be better off getting a better monitor, especially with how much you are spending on everything else.
The game is rather awkwardly balanced i thought. Plays kinda choppy too even at med~low settings. Really should do 16 player maps. the 32 player ones are too damn large. Anyway, hope a patch is headed down the pipe soon. And damn that artillary. damn it to hell ;-P
maya 64 seems to have less crashes (especially stuff which ran out of ram with only 32 bit, like combining huge objects or rendering lot's of polygons) got 8 gigs of ram and vista 64, it's nice! The downside is, that old soundcards and some random small devices aren't supported.
