Did a small research on anamorphic lens flares in UE4. I wanted to add it to my scene, but it looks like things are more complex than I thought. Quick summary: - You can't make it via image-based lens flares in post-process volume. Even more, those lens flares are extremely expensive, so I can't recommend you to use them.…
Hey there , Are you sure that you doing a wood texture , looks more like a brick wall to me or if its wood those planks are floating on top of each other Also most of your seams make straight line [seam on the top and on the bottom ] this is not how you build something durable you want to offset them as much as possible…
hey there, great concept. and i like the visual style of your scene! the colors match those parts of the concept very well that are in full sunlight that is coming through the window. the shadows are much greener and more grimy, though. the main issue i see here, however, is scale and proportion. the height of the nave…
There's not just quads but n-gons too (imagine a 12-sided face, for example, it's 12 edges in a closed loop). The three.js loader is probably triangulating that model for you. In some formats the faces with more than 3 edges are described right there, like in the .OBJ format for example: f 767 773 748 750 768
f 749 751 750…

We sponsor a child in Thailand through Compassion International. If I ever lost my job and couldn't pay my bills I would make sure I fulfilled my commitment to…
chrome: Looks really cool :) I will have a closer look later on. Mark: +1 for the links. I'm gonna make a shameless self-plug. Here's a material I made for my Oasis enviro. The nodes in the Blend box are used to add a texture on top of the rocks (it's used for sand, but could be used for snow too) and the nodes in the…
All you're missing is a torus and a teapot! But seriously now... If I come across as harsh, I apologise in advance. The model looks like you made it out of cones and cylinders, which is fine. But when the geometry still looks like cones and cylinders, then something isn't right. Armour is very modular and made up of lots…
