Made a lot more progress today on the Deagle, hand painting chrome because I enjoy punishing myself. Need to go in and clean it all up with laso and gradient bucket. Streaming my process of this on Twitch if you wanna see me struggling... https://www.twitch.tv/slimefaces
Sometimes I type a response in thread with what i really meant to say then delete it and then type my standard response. Eventually I will develop a twitch if i keep on doing this:) To answer the original question I think it should be called polycount extended sans serif light.
I found it kinda awkward, and in the end, it didn't lead to much. I have a real problem with people that refuse to see the strength and uniqueness in the more reaction-based button-twitching aspects of gaming - I support the evolvement of the medium, but this video didn't make a very good case for it :)
I like the fact that the pecs are dominant but that is just a chartoonish twitch. And to show how long the arm are, i made a quick shot where the arms are down, and they end up where they suppost to. Maybe the length between the fore or upper arm is not totaly correct. Thanks guys, Rens
Since the movements are kind of linear blendshapes might do the trick. depending on where the model ends up maybe a simulation can be used to add bobbiness like they do with hair. But just to achieve these poses I think blendshapes would work fine and they allow direct artistic control. for a dog ear folding back it doesnt…
After I finished reading the Witcher books I really wanted to make Geralt. So here he is. As usual, since it's a personal project and not intended for a game, I've pushed the polycount and texture size a little bit. I have no doubt tho that it's not far from the polycount that an AAA main character has. You can find on my…
The lawyer scenes are a lot more compelling than one might expect them to be. I'd be kind of interested in a series that centres on regular folks trying to do law enforcement in a world with costumed loonies flailing about in the background. Maybe something like the Sam and Twitch series from the Spawn universe.
i dunno, he seems very stiff , his hands and arms seem to be bend/twitched in a surreal way. I can also see that the materials are a bit rushed, or at least they read like so. His face is cool , but the texture seems a bit washed out. Mind posting the flats ?
you "just" have to do that ? Thats called a sweep scope, it is actually quite skillfull, since the size of someones head is smaller then the crosshair. And alot of his shots were twitch shots, seemed awesome to me. some really nice clips, but do you get host often :P ?
I've finished the head for my upcoming character and decided to share it before the whole thing is done. The whole process was streamed on my twitch. Feel free to join me and say hi https://www.twitch.tv/nimlot26 Also I have this mentorship program going on on my Patreon in case any of you are…
