thanks for the comments Yeah, I've been fighting the handling the last few days..... I've come to the conclusion that no matter how much i change the handling with the actual handling file, it doesn't make really any difference. I think it's based on the pivot point in zmod/Max. So I need to adjust it that way. About the…

Hmm. Seems like a temporary glitch. I have a notification from your reply. There's 8 - 10 threads that've had replies that I've no notification of. All seems normal in my User CP. Very strange. I did notice Polycount being offline for a couple of hours the other day. Maybe it was that? Cheers for your reply :)
I'm not fond of the hire-up and cut down. Most places do that because they are under the gun to hit milestones. They quickly ramp up and struggle with all kinds of growing pains. They try to get more done in a shorter amount of time and that compacted and frantic work environment can lead to a lot of costly mistakes that…
That Hp notebook with the E350 is faster than your 3200+(Not saying much!!) I'm actually using my old 3200+ system as an htpc, and looking to replace it as it can't handle hulu past 480P or so. Thinking about a I3 2100, which I can get cpu/mobo/ram for about $235 wooo.…
You can use XRef or Import>Merge. I Like using XRef because I can control what to bring into another project. XRef workdlow: File>Xref>XRef Object (Don't use XRef Scene) You'll get a window, the top left button allows adding meshes from another scene. Bring in the mesh you want. Keep the window open, select the object and…
Apparently not. I think it looks pretty sweet though. Reminds me of the image posted on polycount awhile back. Beginners: 10000s of replies Industry Pro's: 10000s of replies Anything that falls in-between: 5 replies edit: I made a terrible version in 5 seconds.
The easiest way for Relic to do this is to remove all decals by default and then add to all players an item with Relic's default decals which they can choose to put in the decal slot or leave empty. Seriously, now that I think about it this is what Relic should do. It's so simple.
These renders can definitely be done in realtime in higher quality even (although he might need to use his software of course, which might not support that) No way is the actual rendering a week. If he has really terrible settings and a super old laptop maybe a couple hours. The camera shots also are max one hour each in a…
A short reply to say that I have received a lot of proposals. I'll reply to every single one of them but it may take me a day of two. If you don't get a reply after more than a week, I may have missed it, feel free to contact me again.
