     OK update. I've set up a little scene for the pirate. But boy, is it brown! I need some other colour in there, but will that detract from the character? These are the questions on everybody's lips. Maybe. Still not set on the face. I'm not about that face.

     I second Diegos suggestion! would definitely fit the pirate look more than the aztec/mayan design! or maybe something else but still jolly rogery, maybe a sea shell, a crab shell or a giant shark tooth.

     shitty tree I spent too long on crappy pirate guy and finally something from reference All done in painter 9 btw, cs5 isnt saving my brush presets, so, back to the old apps
