I would watch those paint by number videos. Once you are finished watching them, then watch videos about individual tools. It really depends on your budget, I don't live AMD anymore because of the drivers and other issues I came across I got a GTX 680 and was glad I spent the money. The GTX 670 came out (hard to get cause of stock) but thats possible, or a 570 or like Sean posted a 560ti. Can't go wrong with those.
