Man its so hard to see how that animates on a 2 sec long youtube vid? Wouldnt it have been easier to make a short animated gif? You can do it in photoshop.
I found those but couldn't work out how to use the t3d c3d, and amc files with max. Is there an easy way of converting them? I have 3dsmax and maya on my work machine.
Wow. That is damn cool. Very impressive work from opensource apps. The rotatable took about 15 secs to load for me, and is weird to control. Just a quicktime file may be more professional.

As far as I know, Mt. SAC offers some decent modeling classes, and some of them are added very recently. I asked the students who took the class about the curriculum and they loved it. And they occasionally teach Zbrush, too.
Make sure to use 'Bitflag Smoothing Groups', this is what works fine other apps as well. You can also uncheck smg and just 'Include Normals' which will export hard edges via split vertex normals.
