Thanks for the replies: @toolpaddz, @sybrix, @PixelSuit: I have 3/4 months to finish the project. I'll be working on this as well on "Tower22" (video game in progress). It is going to be hard, but I think (and hope) I can handle it. As for the landscape/rocks, I thought of doing the cliffs (big one on the left, and the…
pixelpatron Thanks. You are from Idaho? Or I'm translated "hometown pride" wrong? ) In any case, want noticed all of you, that if you see in my words and quotes strange rave - is not because I want offend anyone, but because I can understand you wrong, and give wrong answer multiplied via my strange scrap-english (smile).…
@PixelMasher Thank you for our thoughts, it dose mean a lot, I have already started to put out free mini tutorials for tips and tricks on Youtube and doing live streams as well so people can come and ask questions. Its something I would like to still continue doing :) @sacboi Thank you for your message.
@pixelpatron Thanks mate! Here's the raw sculpt. Any critique is more than welcome. I feel that the worst part is definitely the fabric handle - I wanted it to look like it's been wrapped around the wood but I don't think it came out too great. JadeEyePanda- Thanks, I pushed the composition a bit tighter which should help a bit. The monsters were never designed the ability to squint, so it's all brow all day. almight_gir- Thanks and you gave me a good idea about the light I switched it to more of an orangeish glow to simulate candle or lantern light. It should…
Thanks for the replies guys. haikai: you are so right. I really started this project off on a bad note and should have fleshed out a 2d concept. I initially wanted to get used to the sculpting tools in Mud as I'm more used to ZB, and also see how I could handle sculpt design on the fly. I can not. darbeenbo, PixelGoat:…
For the normals editing there is the Vertex Normal Tool from FrostSoft, I'm using the free Lite version, even if it's limited in features it does a good job: They also have a PBR plugin called Pixelberg which I haven't tried yet, but it's something I'll look for sure when I'll do some real time stuff again. I agree with…
