there doesnt seem to be much open space in between the entrance and the stairs. try thinking of it in respect to how it'd be used in real life and the amount of space needed for sparring! keep going :) -

Hit "T" to drop out of edit mode. Make Sure both MRGB and Z-Add are enabled and that their respective intensities are at 100, then hit "T" to re-enter edit mode. -

which OS? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions for example, if you're using home basic or premium you aren't getting everything out of your RAM (8gb and 16gb respectively). -

Assign a second material to the glass part in your respective 3d modeling package and when you bring it to UDK, it'll have a slot that you can dump a translucent material on.
