There's a setting in the prefs for choosing tablet or mouse control, that could be it. Switch to whatever you're using. Could also be that you've set either local or world transforms. Change to local if it's on world.
Eh- no more digital preorders for me. All the developer rage over piracy and trade-ins.. This non-local pre-load release makes no sense. Steam is local pre-load.
Try deleting your local settings directory of 3ds max. 'C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsMax' should reset the whole user interface
I'd love to see something like this, too. It's is one of the things I miss most when having to use Max... especially as Max's "local" action centre is never local to anything.
Loving the scene so far dude, got a really nice retro vibe to it, especially with the wood panelling, I especially like all the mementos to family members little photos etc. I thought I would offer up a few points hopefully to help you out with pushing this to be as top notch as possible; as it is really good already. if your mesh isnt exported with its center at world center (0,0,0) then you have to use the local symmetry button. doesnt matter about the other subtools above or below. I always work with local symmetry on by default.

Those are probably the local leaderboards. On 360 it's got local/friends/global, I'm not sure if it has those on the PC version, though. I'm pretty sure you aren't literally the only one playing the game :)
CrazyB makes sense, I really don't understand why you would want them to not be aligned locally? Are you trying to switch them to world so they will be easier to rotate? If that is the case switch the spinner to "local".
