diZzyWalnut - Hey thats good, info. Yes I enjoyed all the tourist highlights, particularly the old city. The buildings were very beautiful. Here is a close up of the clock face Sorry its sideways on
This is a project I did for work earlier this year. I only just got around to retexturing it in dDo. Let me know what you guys think. Its got 2 4k maps and clocks in around 32,000 tris.
thanks Coyo.Te i had this idea while ago too, but just forgot to put it down on paper till now :3 anyways, heres another concept for a clock/training dummy ward!! any input is greatly appreciated
I lold, (how did I not think of that - reminds me to check the new episode.. ) Its a bit less than on the picture but depends on the day. I get pretty blinded around 12 o clock in return tho
Hah thats exactly what I plan on doing, I was just looking at alarm clocks to model last night. Good to see I am on the same page. Also the above render is the game asset not the high poly.
i dont know if its a perspective problem, but the photograph and the clock on the wall look like both are decals aplied on it (you notice they are not because of the edges). if you make them a bit thicker i think they would look nicer :)
The last game I installed was Dead Space. I had installed the physix and other required things, after I started having issues. I'm going to try toning down over clock and see if that makes a differences.
Hey Polycounters Made this thread for my first game environment. Still lots to improve on Baking etc though. I'll keep posting more props and progress. Feedback is appreciated! Hope you like it :-) The first asset is this clock prop. People need to be on time! ;-)
It's possible if you know where to look for, and land, gigs (look round the clock you're awake!). Like.... http://www.game-artist.net/forums/hiring-industry-contracted-work/21131-cg-monster-character-modeler-nickelodeon.html
