The lack of Flash on 64-bit systems has always been a huge problem for years. Gotta love the corporations limiting the technology migration. (I did mention about this in the animated gif thread) For Flash you'd have to stick to your 32-bit Firefox. :(
you can't use more then 256 colors on the ds. for alpha texture there is just stencil then. for 5bit alpha 32 colors for 3bit alpha 8 colors. there is converter to "autoconvert" the textures, but the quality is not that good. especially for alphas you need to handpick to get better results.
On a minor note, the rifling curves along the barrel; this twist is what causes the bullet to spin. For pistols, you'll typically see one complete revolution every 16-32 inches. You'll note that the view down the barrel is what you see at the beginning of almost every James Bond movie:
Minimum System Requirements: OS: Windows Vista, or newer, 32-bits or 64-bits. UGH.. i know its sad I still use xp. Waiting to upgrade when i can afford a new rig. It's a shame ZRemesher looks like a huge improvement from QRemesher.
I mena you have tubes for the barrels of the weapons that are what, 32 sides or something, that are then hollow as well? Your looking at a lot of polygons there, when you could simply do a 16 sided tube thats solid and just texture the end correctly and nobody would tell any different.
Gah! And now I figured it out :) In forward rendering there is no limitation on the number of culling mask layers for a light. So you basically have 32 layers to fiddle around with. Incredible what a nights sleep can do :D Was going nuts yesterday trying to figure this out. Oh well...
Hello Mike, We're switching from the xeon boxes we had when you were with us to high end I7s for the next gen stuff. 32-64gb ram depending on the person and gtx680s for pixel pushing. Ill leave you to figure out who I am :p
I really like Vista. Going from 32-bit XP to 64-bit Vista feel pretty good performance increase. My wife loves the new interface and search abilites. Of course I can't upgrade at work since the Xbox 360 XDK isn't compatible yet.
M'on the weegies! I've seen some other their stuff before (like the moonwalker one). Some good stuff there Only a Scotsman in a bird suit can make "coo coo" sound threatening. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8165720753689318837&q=irn+bru+32 Red Bull? Pish.
Yeh, already said so on the first post. Got SP1 and the latest hotfix. Do I need the older (pre-servicepack) hotfixes too, or are they included in S1? The hotfix actualy does not work if onyl one version is patched with SP1. So yes, all stuff is on the 32 and 64 versions.
