Just remember that the 16th and 17th is the weekend of carmageddon so I truly don't know how bad the traffic will be that weekend. 405 from the 10 to the 101 is closing down (which is quite a distance and quite the congestion already) so you might want to do it somewhere else or possibly even reschedule...just a heads up… -

Tried messing with it a bit more. Changing it to an unlit, additive material took it down to 27 'base pass' shader instructions and 111 vertex shader ones. That definitely sounds much more efficient. Mileage: 1823.2 Time to hit the road for the second to last leg of this little escapade. Still haven't decided whether I want to take the coastal 101 or inland on 5... 11+ hours of driving vs 8+ hours. "The view" isn't so much a concern as "how damn tired I am when I get to Arcata".
