Before polycount hit the dust, there was already 10k+ downloads for the newer late 2004 (and rather bad imo) Spongebob q3 model, so our "audience" isn't quite apathetic and gone yet.
I for one have been dying....DYING for a quality SHODAN model for a game since Quake 3. If someone were to make one for UT 2004, they'd easily become me hero.

You might as well pick up a copy of the Xsi mod tool as well since you it lets you make models for HL2 and UT 2004 I think. Check out Wings3D if you don't like modeling in Blender and it also has a nice unwrapping tool. Alex

I think if you decide to do a hi poly for normal map then jack up the polys on your low poly....1000 tris seems a lil low....u could def go as high as around 10 000 if u wanna do a next gen type character
ok i have the latest drivers , and have mudbox 1.0.7 , at 180 000 polys its perfect no chugginess etc, if i subdivide again then the program goes nutbatshit , anyway heres the screenshot with the memory used : i dont get it :( i will reinstall mud to see if it fixes anything....
