yep..selected all the faces, set them to SM group 1, and exported with cannonfodder exporter I dont have max file as I did rly save it, but I might send u .smd?

Not sure if exact issue but I've run into this before, what I have to do is name the texture to the correct path before exporting to a .smd, even if its just flat grey / untextured.

Occasionally while I'm viewing images of character models on the forum, I press Alt+LMB trying to orbit around them. Takes me a sec to realize I'm not looking at a viewport.
