Hi! Do you have lightmap UV seams along the edges? Maybe this edge is showing because of value difference in the lightmap. Edit: When looking at ow level fanart made in Unreal using static lighting, I saw similar cases. I think light bake is based on the real geometry and normal decals can not alter the baked values.
Hey, I teach a Photoshop class for the Game Art and Design program at VanArts. I also graduated from the program 3 years ago. I'll give you the most honest feedback I can (regarding VanArts). It's a one year full time program (30 hours of week of classes). Each term is 3 months and there are 4 terms in the year. Term 1 is…
I've just finished watching the new mini-series from HBO, Chernobyl and I loved it. I wanted to make a fanart, so I decided to do a likeness sculpt of one of the main characters, Valery Legasov played by Jared Harris. Sculpted and rendered in Zbrush and post-processing done in Photoshop. Check out my…
Aaaaand here we go ! Still need to change the face, and add a base, and polypaint some details... I guess it will suck once decimated though... stupid 1 Million polygons limit... I dunno, you'd have to watch a tut to know what to do, but it's not too strange a workflow right? Still blown away by that Bastion fanart that someone posted in WAYWO a while back, that was completely…
Hey all, I am looking to bring to life some characters of your own. Perhaps you want some artwork done for your DnD Campaign or maybe just some fanart from your favorite game. This was an 8-bit rendition of Patricia Wagon I made for Wayforward (you can see it in the fanart section!). It's suppose to represent what what a Mighty Switch Force for Gameboy Color could look like (they made a GBC game before). I think it took me 2 hours to complete. I also have the original "low res" sprite saved on…

So I recently bought myself an Ipad and I got Nomad Sculpt so I don't have to turn on my pc just for practice. So I created these artworks below. Cruella was my second test to push the boundaries of the software and test the limitations while the skull was first test to get the hang of the software. Turns out it was really…
