I see no screns You can use safe transform node for rotate (with 45 deg steps only. I don't think you could rotate tileables other way ) and another one for the shift, as poopipe suggested. Shift is not very convenient there IMO. I did my own that shift to exact pixel value if you give it a correct input image size
Hey, this looks quite cool already. The pose of the arms is almost ok as it is: palms facing downward and shoulders 45° down. You only need to bend the elbows forward just slightly as Brian said. This makes the setup of the IK much easier. Plus, deformation-wise, it's always better to not have a joint posed in the most…
That's pretty easy; take a cylinder and delete half of it. Model it into a shape you want to get and then apply a symmetry modifier. Rotate the mirror by 45 degrees and do the same for each side. Viola :) I will add some ribs to it though, to cover the transitions. It's really hard to get seamless lighting on modular…
Though to be honest you can get about 4 pretty decent 120mm case fans for about $45 or less, not sure if you would want that many, but even replacing the non stock fans could be really beneficial either for getting more air pushed through your case or for the same amount of air pushed much quieter.
The barrels seem rather squat. The slope of the stairs is much too shallow - those in the reference are close to 45 degrees. You really should try to match the FOV & camera position to those in the reference; the current proportions overall don't seem to match, and you'll have a very difficult time progressing if you can…
Are all of those 45 degree slopes ramps people are meant to walk on? If so then they should probably be moved down to be about 20 or 30 degrees. That would be pretty hard to walk up. Even if they're going to be stairs it should be about a 30 degree slope like this unless they're similar to a fire escape like some of the…
I finally found it, took 30 minutes. Trim curve brush - You had to hold ctrl shift then choose brushes. Zbrush hotkey HELL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDSUpzx736g Hopefully when someone googles the right keywords they will find this polycount page and this tutorial and shave the time from 30-45 minutes to 1 minute.
The smaller details look rather nice! There's some scale problems with some of the parts though. The barrel busing is a bit too thick, the barrel end is way too small for a .45, and the recoil spring cap is a bit small as well. Fix those things, and add a few polys to some of the rough edges and I think you've got an…
Played like 45 mins of the game so far, and i was having such a good time. Really a nice looking game, and its lots of fun! Really a fresh take on what a FPS is, and i dunno why, but the whole italian accents and family reminds me of The Sopranos.... might just be me. Awesome job tho to everyone that worked on this game!
i'm rebooting this old thread for the sake that the game is out......stateside soon. but man, the reviews are through the roof. the videos i've seen are amazing. i LOVED far cry 2(it's divisive)....and can NOT wait for the U.S. release. anyone here frothing at the mouth as much as me? 45 minutes of bliss......…
