Only one thing that's kinda bummin' me...the URL for the Gears mod page on UDN, which is even printed in the back of the manual requests password authentication when going to it via UDN links and if you type it in directly it says 404. :/ I guess somebody forgot to switch it on.
To get rid of the hassle of using the original QW client you can use: http://fquake.sourceforge.net/ or http://www.fz.se/filer/archive.fz?id=504 sorry about the second one being in Swedish but I think most of you are smart enuff to figure out where to click.
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/28891.html moar http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=177966 and moar, lots of user ut2003/2004 ripoffs there I think the swamps thing at the very end is the first boss area in painkiller. the facial animation is full of win, on par with colin's bear
You can do that with a multitexture I believe. Just using an alpha as the blend. Personally I would just have the sand on separate geometry above the other one .005 and alpha vert the edges. But that won't render out of Maya. You'd have to use an alpha texture for it.
What do you guys thinking about this? I made on Unreal but Im not sure if its okay. https://cdn-animation.artstation.com/p/video_sources/000/248/361/ramen-2-trim.mp4
@DavidCruz kinda off topic but i noticed in your signature it says your page is 404'd... is it due to the hyphen added at the end of your link? it came up fine once that was removed
I too am wondering what is going on with the xnormal website. The first link above still gives me a 404 error and the second link says "website coming soon." What gives?
I've already found this page, but the download link redirect to a 404 error. Thanks, the script launches now ! It gave me strange results at first, but xForm reset before applying it corrected them.
Here is a small kitbashed (from another, bigger model) Mech for our game. The rigging took me almost as long as the Kitbash :D (about 2 hours) 25 000 Tris here...
