i've got a 8800 GT that i picked up for like $100, you may be able to find it for less even these days, runs everything i could think of great. You could try a 8600 or 7600 if you need to go really cheap. newegg has some 9800s for near/less than $100 actually(only one 8800 which is $100) -

Try exiting edit mode, clearing the document, and then doublecheck your RGB and Z intensity values. Make sure they are both at 100 before redrawing the tool and entering edit mode. Anything less than 100 and you wont be able to edit the tool. If you were using projection master prior to this, it's possible that the values… -

hey guys i'm currently working on a simple max script tool for my scripting class, and i 've ran into a problem. i'm trying to run this command: "render outputSize: [xWidth,xHeight]" as you can see in the code below it takes the values inputted be the spinner and does a simple math formula. It might have still been going on in 2010 the older versions kind of blend together, I've been using 2012 for about a year and I really wouldn't want to go back to 2010 or 2011 hahaha. 2010 and 2011 where some of the more messed versions of max in recent history, so it wouldn't shock me. Due to failing at using words I thought I'd make a picture This will give you a gradient within a range defined by distanceOffset and distanceOffset+distanceRange. eg. if you set distanceOffset to 100 and distanceRange to 100 it will blend colors while the camera is between 100 and 200 units from the object I don't know… -
