Update: I need to still add the muffler on the other side, and the wheel detail on the other side (because its different). After that, it's just going over the model to fix errors/pinches and make it look better in parts that its not. :) *Old ss of max, but I liked it*
Damn, thanks everyone. Greg: I might expand them. Some have potential, but I think I'd have to do more to merit detailing them. Had some fun in Zbrush while watching Zombieland tonight. Mostly working with the Clay and Pinch brushes.
looking excellent, I love the face. MM's paint over really adds to it too. one thing that you might do is add a little more volume to the back of the head. it looks a bit small. also the pinch on the brow line looks a little too hard.
this sketch is great! i don't know about the basemesh though... you've got some nasty 5-sided polys on the shoulders and the verts with only 3 edges (called poles) will create horrible pinching at the elbow. also: those hips are very weird. keep it up!
[ QUOTE ] As bullshit as the penny pinching scots stereotype is, I still think its great fun, you know, short arms , deep pockets , nudge nudge r. [/ QUOTE ] I thought we had short arms because we were 'long' elsewhere
Not in the context of a single document containing everything to do with the game. In fact I don't think I have ever seen a word document that contains design information. Games from my experience are designed hands on while features are pitched in presentations and then prototyped and moved forward. Often something that…
Looking Great man cant wait to see how it turns out! I'd pinch the lips into a tighter 'M' shape might be a bit wide. Its been a great pleasure to have met you Jackson!
for a beginner seems pretty good. from the angles I can't see any pinching in your turbo smooth and would need to see the source ref to make any complaints about the modeling. thumbs up!
use flatten, smooth and pinch. also Dam_standard is very useful which u can get on zbrush central. it just takes some experimenting and even making your own brushes or tweaking default brushes
Normally it helps with pinching. Try add more segments to your base geometry before adding in the hole. Also about your images, you need to link directly to the image instead of the page containing the image.
