I have legit adobe cs3 master collection (one of the perks of my friend working for adobe is cheap commerical licenses). Wait I thought modo used to cost $595 what happened there? But $995 is a bit out of range at the moment (really quite poor). I will give blender another shot.
Did more editing and now she's at 5956 tris. Started on the texturing. No bump or spec yet. Got her body already rigged up, then on to the facial rigging soon. Lemme know what you think.
I've been eyeballing this one. It hangs around $599 usually, but I have seen it go down to $499 during a sale (should have nabbed it but waited too long). From what I can tell, it should be a terrific monitor, plus the new all-black casing is great IMO.
