I take it you're talking about the slide normal thief script... you have to set the menu to a hotkey after you run the script and open it from there. It'd be under SlideTools or something like that.
hahah no.. no.. i'm still not sure if its possible with scripting, i dont know much about scripting did this today the mesh are still in prototype phase just trying ot get a look together.
Renderhjs: Just encountered a tiny bug in TexTools. When cycling through the checker materials, I get an error. It seems like it was looking for the textures in side \scripts and not scripts\textools where they are actually located.
You can also use one of several object painter scripts like Neil Blevins script. You can also use a attachment constraint to stick objects on meshes and have them follow.
No find/replace in the stock tool though. I use Paul Hormis' renamer script instead... http://www.hyperent.com/TiM-Scripts-UI.html Naming along with selection sets/layers is the best organization for me.
I didn't think that copy and pasting files in Mxs was harder than making the script itself (being said that's my first script). Whew, I'll start deciphering it. Thanks
Thats nice pope adam, i've always wanted to try modular pieces! does anybody in here know of a maya script to stick an object to another? like a rivet script
You could also try this; & if you don't want to use it might give you some scripting ideas ^_^- http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/copypaste-object-properties
He never shared his Unity script so you're out of luck. You'd need to write a unity script that could import the timings of the text output this tool creates.
